born in 1969 in Rhineland-Palatinate close to Koblenz. From 1991 to 1996 she studied German studies and Art in Cologne and later in Wuppertal. Already during her study time she took part in different author's workshops.
Stays of several weeks in the USA, among it 3 weeks in California (L.A.), 1 year of activity with the West German Radio in Cologne (production of telecasts) and several years of extra's activity in movie and television productions as well as a 6-week stay in Australia served the search for the novel "White Gold Wing“, on which she worked - with several partly long-standing interruptions - 13 years.
Christine Römer lives with her husband and her two children close to Cologne, Germany.
