My name is Carolina Camones, and I am from Peru. I studied Translation and Interpretation (English and Chinese). In my third year as a student, I obtained a scholarship to study for a year in China at the Sichuan Normal University, where I was able to improve my skills in the Chinese language.

I have four years of experience as a translator. I have held various positions as an administrative assistant, where I was responsible for the smooth operation of the office. I also worked as a commercial assistant, negotiating with potential clients. As a translator, I learned to perform tasks beyond my core responsibilities, which provided valuable learning experiences in my professional life.

Despite my extensive experience as a contract translator, the main reason I decided to pursue my degree was to translate books. Since I was little, books have been a great source of companionship for me as an introverted girl. I want to support the writing community by helping their works reach diverse audiences, ensuring that language is not a barrier.

I hope to contribute to this community and help more people access their beloved books.
