I am Carmen Urdanivia-English, born in Colombia, South America. I am a graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, USA, where I earned a Ph. D. in education. My dissertation involved working with latino parents, translating into and from Spanish-English. I am a widow living in Colombia while taking care of my elderly mother. While in USA I translated for schools and parents both, in writing and orally for almost 25 years. I retired in 2011, having plenty of time to translate and a passion for literature. I am extremely interested in translating from English to Spanish. Looking forward to working with you.

Author review: Carmen was above excellent. She works quickly and has a wonderful mastery of the English language. Despite that she was never afraid to ask for clarifications when it came to some British slang and colloquialisms. Carmen was a delight to work with and I highly recommend her. |
