I started translating when I was very young, at the request of my father. My first job was to translate technical material about the North-American Industry Classification System. When I got older I started doing translation both as a side job, having worked with Biology, Philosophy, IT, and as a hobby, translating manga scans for Brazilian fans. Then I graduated in Radio and Television, and got a job as an Audiovisual Producer, where my language skill were of great help. I started negotiating with voiceover talents from all around the globe, and translating material that was used in recordings and subtitling. Around that time I got my CPE degree. Now, I´m a complete freelancer, enjoying this lifestyle, the flexibility and responsability it requires, diversifying my activity which includes Audiovisual production services, English classes for executives and liberal professionals, and Translating in Portuguese and English. I also speak Spanish, and have Spanish Citizenship, but I´m not native level so I don´t work with it as a Translator.
