I have been translating for over 20 years now and ultimately would like to concentrate on book translations. I have recently edited a new book written by a new German author (Farina de Waard, Vermächtnis der Wölfe"), which I will be translating into English this year as well. I am perfectly bilingual in German and English, and have lived in and spoken both languages all my life. My vocabulary in both languages far surpasses that of most monolingual native speakers due to my translation experience. I focus mainly on marketing texts, which means I am well able to tell stories!
During the course of my life I have lived in Germany, Kenia, Switzerland, Ireland, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and have now settled in Spain, where I run my own translation agency.
It is quite difficult for me to choose ONE native language below, but will go for English as I prefer translating FROM German, however, the other way around is also not a problem.
