My name is Barbara Parutto, I'm 43 and I'm an Italian mother tongue translator with a great passion for languages. I collaborated for many years with mother tongue English teachers to improve my skills. Then I worked as a teacher for some years. Since 2013 I work full-time as translator freelance. I love Italian language and I like writing poetries and short stories. I'm a perfectionist in my writing and I always try to make every single word sounding its best.
I have a good experience both as translator and as proofreader. I'm the Italian translatori of Molly Fitz's series "Un detective con le vibrisse" (Pet whisperer P.I) and "Le avventure magiche di Merlino" (Merlin the magical fluff).
I'm experienced in translating cozy mistery, manuals, self help guides and children literature, but I'll be happy to try new genders too.
