I am a passionate linguist, motivated to help people communicate through translation. 

I am a dual Australian/French national who has lived in France, Australia and New Caledonia, as well as Vietnam and Solomon Islands. As well as French and English, I speak Vietnamese, Solmomon Islands Pijin and a smattering of Spanish, German and Welsh.

A former Australian diplomat, I have a wide range of interests and translate in a range of fields, but my true love is literature. I read avidly in French and English, both fiction and non-fiction, for myself and for my two bilingual kids. I am also a writer, producing articles for a range of publications and working on my own novel which may see light one day. I am fascinated by the subtlety of language and the complexity of meaning and enjoy finding ways to convey these in translation.
