English native with proficiency in French, studying MA Specialised Translation at University of Westminster

I am an English native speaker with proficiency in French. 

I studied French at A Level and as part of my undergraduate degree. Following graduation, I spent a year studying and working in France, first as an intern and then as an au pair for a French family in Geneva. 

I am now back in the UK, studying MA Specialised Translation (French and English) at the University of Westminster. My course involves translation of scientific, financial and legal texts as well as texts from international and goverment institutions. Other modules include quality assurance and computer-assisted translation. 

I have also recently assisted in the translation of a TED talk from French to English on the subject of being yourself in day to day life, which is currently awaiting review.

I would be happy to work with any authors needing translation from French to English.
