I've been working with translations since 2008 and as a Certified Translator since 2010, PT-EN and EN-PT. English is part of my daily readings and writings back in 1984 when I was an exchange student in Palo Alto/California. From 1986 to 1998, I worked in the shipping and foreign trade business where English is a major language. In 2009, I got my degree in Letters Portuguese/English and in 2010 became a Public/Certified Translator. Daily readings range from newspapers (The Guardian, BBC, CNN, Telegraph) to Running News (Runners World, personal webpages, etc.), as well as novels and poetry in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
As sworn translations are rather technical, I'm willing to give a try in a different field of translation, counting on significant resources - dictionaries / books / glossaries.
