With a Licence Degree, from the University of Annaba in 1990, with other language certificates before, such as Spanish and Italian, and because of the great lack of books by th 80's in English, . namely in thefields of English Drama, Poetry, American Literature, African Literature, that any student of English language and Literature should be aware of, in English, in any part of the world.
Even that was not affordable, and we were obliged to write our papers upon French or Arabic translated books, that we could manage to find, towards cultural institutes, belonging to a cetain number of foreign countries. Thus, we plounged into the depth of the amazingly sweet world of translation. Yet, what seemed tough, and little bit "fool", became a great love.
Later on, we started help, students and teachers in other fields, such as Medecine, Pharmacy, Oral Medecine, Oral Pharmacy, Oral Surgery, technology, Electronics, Biology, Biochemical Science, etc...etc..., as far as English was concerned. We started knowing more and more about specfic language registers.
Later on as a medical Librarian and Dean of a medical library, i continued to help reseachers read medical, and pure science literature, written in English, into either French or Arabic, through Translation. I even made the opposite, when they were interreted to publish in foreign international journals, namely in chemistry, biochemistry, General Biology, medecine, surgery, pharmacy, etc...And that was free, just for the sake of science, and for patients that may be suffering in hospitals, partly because of a medical information, hidden between pages of a wealthy medical book, becoming worthless, because not consulted when just needed, due to the linguistic barrier..In such conditions, a patient could die...I did all this freely, spending hours and hours and hours, sleeping less and les and less, loosing money more and more and more, just for the welfare of all, but patients with first regard. Now after may be more than 30 years of disregard, from the administration, i started thinking a little bit for my-self, why not use my experience and reach people abroad, help peope abroad, in the hospitals, by helping authors publish via my own translations, their works, they may gain in popularity, in money,and so will I. A relationship between the authors, and myself on the basis of WINNER to WINNER.
