A guide to discover the magic of Venice around its calli and canals.
Through the words of a lady who lost her lover and is hardly fighting her own nature to find a deeper consciousness of her inner self. The reader is guided through the city of Venice both with text and photographs in a visual way and therefore more realistic, following the same steps of the protagonist.

One night I dreamed that I was in Zattere, and even in my dream it was night: I looked towards the Giudecca, and above it there was a curtain of stars shining, some rushing like shooting stars, caughting fire for a moment and then disappear. I walked up to a wooden table where tarots were dished out, and I thought that I should be sitting there, together with those cards. Then I ringed around the table, waiting to really see myself sitting at that table, but I was left disappointed:
the chair was still empty.
