Tommy Topper and the Pixie Princess by Joe Corso

Tommy Topper meets Harry Potter

Tommy topper and the pixie princess

Enter the enchanted world of Tommy Topper; a magical place of wizards, witches, pixies, and other supernatural and mystical beings.

On Tommy’s fourteenth birthday, his parents tell him of his birthright—he is a powerful wizard whose roots are traced back to the land of Kranta, a faraway place to which Tommy can teleport to in an instant…with the right spell. However, the evil emperor Ling Cam has stolen the  5 magic items from the people of Kranta and wants to use it for his own purposes, intending to destroy the young and powerful wizard in the process.

Kranta is no longer a happy place as a result, and it is up to Tommy, with the help of his Uncle Nick, the wizard Verlan, and beautiful pixie Princess Ryanna, to destroy the emperor and return power to the fallen king. Will Tommy Topper be able to use his newfound powers and magical items that he must recover along the way in order to bring back peace, harmony, and magic to the people of Kranta?

Kranta

The room was enormous, beautiful, and built for gaiety. You could tell by looking at the large, empty bandstand that, sometime in the near past, this room was once filled with music and couples dancing. Tonight, the room was empty, save for an ornate throne at the far end of the room in front of a series of large windows. The workmanship in every part of the room was exquisite, from the shiny quartz walls to the polished hard wooden dance floor to the beautiful marble columns lined majestically around the room.

But now, the beautiful room looked dark and foreboding. The malevolent force that was exerting its influence over the castle and the land was seated on the throne, dressed all in black. He was a tall, cadaverous looking man with dark, penetrating eyes sunken deep in his eye sockets, which gave one the impression from his predatory glare that you were staring at the face of a corpse. This man would not be satisfied until he owned and controlled everything within his grasp, including the world of Kranta, which, at present, he had his claws hooked deep into. But that wasn’t enough for him. He would have the worlds he could see and then he’d find a way through the use of magic to control the worlds he couldn’t see. Although a wizard himself, he did not have the magic ability that the great master magic practitioners of old had. So he enticed the greatest magicians on Kranta, who still practiced their arcane trade with gold – enough gold to uproot them from their comfortable lifestyles – and, with the lure of gold, he convinced them to relocate to the palace at Kranta. His communications stated they would have the finest accommodations, and they could continue their research into magical wizardry behind the closed doors of the palace without fear of anyone inhibiting their endeavors.
