-         3 cloves garlic, minced

-         1 teaspoon ground cumin

Directions:

In a skillet, heat the oil. Add the onions and cook for 3 minutes or until translucent. Add the garlic, cumin, turmeric, coriander, gingerroot, cardamom pods, bay leaf, salt, pepper, and cinnamon stick. Stir for 1 minute. Add the lemon juice and tomatoes. Stir.
