You can meditate indoors or outdoors, in a crowded room or an empty room. You can meditate in a mansion or a hut, on a rock or on a yacht, on a beach or in a forest. Anywhere and everywhere can provide a place to meditate. I’ve often slipped away from a party or crowded event (not my favorite places to be) and found an empty room (often a bathroom) to spend a few minutes in meditation. Since I sometimes struggle with social anxiety, this is often the only way I can get through certain situations.
