A girl had an accident and forgot everything. Her name and identity are lost. She gets lost in the woods of Alaska, in the United States. There she meets a total stranger named Waldo who promises to help her. She is later picked up by a Scarlett, in her car and driven to a mansion, where she spends that night with two strangers.
The Aurora Borealis awakens her to aspects of her past and identity. Those polar lights in the night sky, in her opinion, had to have some significance for her existence.
The story revolves around the identity of the girl. Who the strangers were, how the weird events that occurred in the mansion related to her life, and what the motives of the person who appeared to be following her were, forms the crux of the book.
An intriguing Science Fiction short story that keeps you hooked from the right beginning!

Scarlett got up from the chair. She inched closer to Aurora, clasped her hands and looked at her, in her eyes. She whispered, "Aurora, now tell me, why do you act as though you don’t remember anything? Is it really true that your memory has faded away?”
Aurora stared at her with wide open eyes as though the entire world would crumble around her. With all frustration, she pushed her away to the wall across, with all of her might.
Her voice grew louder, "What do you mean?” She got up from the bed.
“Do you perceive my words as though I am pretending to be someone? Do you?” She moved toward her. “Dear Police Officer, you seem to think that I have done something to you that I am completely unable to realize. Tell me what is it that you want to know from me?” Aurora questioned agonisingly.
Scarlett held the legs of the table and stood up off the floor. She showed a fake smile.
“Nice, Aurora,” she said. “Remember, you are manhandling a police officer.”
“I really don’t care.” Aurora’s voice was unsympathetic.
