Do you have a goal that’s eluded you? Motivation is the key and sometimes it’s hard to stay focused on what you really want. This 30-Day Makeover’s going to make that history.
In this easy to follow, even easier to implement, month long makeover, you’ll be guided day by day with suggestions, ideas and tweaks, to the way you currently do things so you can achieve all that your heart desires. Whether it’s writing a book, losing weight, starting a business…
Rinse and repeat and everything can be in sight.
Genre: SELF-HELP / Motivational & Inspirational
Although this is an older title, I feel that the subject matter is evergreen and also one that people around the world are always interested in learning more about.
Day Five-Rewards
We all should reward ourselves for a job well done. The best thing you can do to keep the motivation in top gear is to reward yourself for staying the course. Plan a weekly reward. Something you really love. It could even be something that you’ve put aside to pursue a goal. Like staying in every night to work on your book instead of going out with friends. However, take one night off to go celebrate with them.
Day Six-Pacing
Don’t try and do it all in one shot. Don’t go all out with your pursuit so that you’re too worn out to enjoy it or can’t go the extra mile to get the goal done. It’s all about pacing. Nice and slow wins the race.
Day Seven-Look Back
Look at the past to see what successes you’ve had before and try and figure out what motivated you at that time. Try to take the same steps again.
Day Eight-Focus on the Small Stuff
On the days when your motivation is waning, and yes, we all have those days, switch gears and focus on something small to try and achieve. Something you might be able to tackle in a day. It makes you feel like you’re getting things done which helps you stay motivated for longer.
