I always knew I would be tricked into one of these situations in life. I don't know why I was standing there looking at this creepy ass house in the middle of Kansas in the boonies. There was no way growing up that I ever thought I would be in this situation at half past midnight all alone staring at a creepy house. But, I had to pay the bills, and being an appraiser who was on call, being there at all hours was as part of the job. If you wanted to get business you become loyal to people and this loyalty led me to doing a last-minute appraisal in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere. It was the last place I ever wanted to be because I was already afraid of ghosts and this place is creepy as hell.
