Blythe, Lorewyn’s trusted and devoted lifelong Unicorn companion, has stood faithfully by the Elven maiden’s side from the beginning of her days in New Sylestia until even now, traveling with her in a post-Cordysian immortal kind of existence. She has been Lorewyn’s conscience, protector, loyal steed, comforter, counselor, and cherished friend. But now, through a strange and tragic mishap during passage from one realm to another, Blythe experiences a horrible loss of memory, one that not even Lorewyn with her degree of power can mend. Unable to remember her past, her own identity, or even who Lorewyn is, the Unicorn is thrown into confusion and becomes a target for those who wish to use her to obtain wicked goals. While Rhianyn searches realms far and wide for some answer and a way to heal her, Lorewyn must stay at her equine friend’s side through this terrible ordeal, her own faith and love for Blythe put to the test in ways she has never had to deal with before. Will Rhianyn’s perseverance and resourcefulness in her search and Lorewyn’s unyielding bond be enough to offer hope for the Unicorn who has inspired hope for so many before?
Book Three of the New Adventures of Lorewyn & Company, And Now These Three Remain, is a special tribute and work of love for a character who has cantered and galloped her way through every novel of both the Cordysian Chronicles and this newer series… and who has been part of Lorewyn’s story since the beginning.

“But now that I’ve made this young mare’s acquaintance, and been formally introduced to you, Loremaster, you’ll have to invite me over sometime, after all this bloodshed is ended, so I can visit our new mutual friend here.”
Sylvius chuckled and accompanied the Steward on Atropos’s back, still carrying the foal. The Giant Eagle took off once more and began to fly with the three to safety… and to the rest of the war that still needed to be fought.
“I knew her mother, Mynnivieve,” Velyxi commented as they were airborne. “She was a brave and valiant mare. I know the Order will mourn her loss. But as for this young one…” She looked over at the foal, then at Sylvius. “Do you know her name?”
“No, actually,” Sylvius replied. “In all the commotion I didn’t ask.”
The foal let out a soft neigh, but it wasn’t just a neigh. She had spoken something, a word. Neither Velyxi nor Sylvius had heard her clearly, however.
“I’m sorry,” Sylvius said to the foal. “I didn’t hear you. Can you repeat what you just said, please?”
The foal lifted her head and looked up at both Sylvius and the Steward.
“Blythe,” she answered quietly, in a gentle melodic young Unicorn voice. “My name is Blythe.”
