When locals want the lowdown on what’s going on in their own state…They turn to Amber Richards’ Exploring America series! That’s why travelers are catching on to this invaluable series as well.
More than just travel guides, these state-by-state editions, dial-in to the locales, the events, the goods, the foods, sights, sounds, and characters you MUST experience if you want the right to say, “I’ve been there!”
It is not a typical travel guide, in the sense that the focus is not about where to eat and where to stay, but rather on where to go and what to experience to get an authentic sense of Alaska.
In this edition, Amber collaborates with a local Alaskan to pop the cork on America’s true wild frontier. From well-known attractions and the history behind them, to the obscure less traveled experiences, Ms. Richards delivers the real Alaska to your fingertips! Spoiler alert: pack bear repellent, dancing shoes, waterproof matches, a sturdy steak knife, and your favorite beer mug. See you on the wild side! Download your copy now.

I will be also making this into a paperback edition through Babelcube, and will set up a landing page for this book and promote it (as with all my books)
In this series, we'll be taking a look, at one American state at a time to explore. In this ebook, we'll be looking at the beautiful state of Alaska.
Whether you are a resident of Alaska, or plan to visit, we'll be checking out cool places to see and interesting things to do. Some of these will be well known, popular options, while others will be more obscure, out of the way places to discover.
This was written in collaboration with a resident of Alaska, to offer a local's perspective of the area. Many times that offers a completely different view of an area, than when written by a travel guide.
The focus of this series is not so much about where to stay and eat (unless that offers a truly unique experience for the region), but about the towns, local life, nature, landscape, some history, and things to do while in Alaska.
There is also a chapter on ghost towns, popular fairs & festivals to take in, and family friendly things to do.
Thank you for downloading this ebook. Keep reading to enrich your experience of this amazing state!
Alaska - Famous For
Alaska, the 49th state, has many names. Alaska is the Russian version of the Aleutian word Alakshak, meaning 'great lands' or 'peninsula', so it is known as “The Great Land” and also as “The Last Frontier”. It allows for those hardy individuals to get away from it all and retreat into the Alaska Bush.
