Currently a college senior majoring in French and Biology, I became passionate about the language after spending 6 months in France as part of a language immersion program. I find learning and putting foreign language skills into practice very fulfilling in general, which has led to my continued study of Spanish and Italian as well.
I often translate poems and songs for fun both from French to English and English to French, so I am most interested in translating creative texts, although my biology background gives me an advantage for translating scientific documents. I recently started out volunteering as a translator for Coursera and TED talk subtitles, and I look forward to working on more projects.
