Thirty years of experience in translating technical manuals in the defense area in an important company in that field in Brazil. Concomitantly I taught ESP English and Portuguese in higher education courses during eighteen years, once I have a master degree in Applied Linguistics. I have also worked as freelancer for many years translating in different areas (Portuguese to English, English to Portuguese, and Spanish to Portuguese): Aeronautics, Defense, Medicine, Psychology, Sociology, Mechanics, Electronics, Computing, Business, Literarure, History etc. Besides I have worked in Linguistic Consulting and Proofreader of books, final papers, thesis and dissertations and have a chapter in an academic book issued in Portuguese and some academic articles presented in Congress, also in Portuguese, in Applied Linguistic area.
