William Taylor was born and raised in West Hill, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto. His love of reading dates back to childhood when he often had to argue with primary school teachers to be allowed to read at much higher grade levels. Many authors inspired him including Stephen King, H.G. Wells, Charles Dickens and many more. Story telling is a natural thing for his family and he grew up with colourful relatives who could always tell an interesting story.
After the death of his maternal Grandmother in 2002, William began a journey of discovering his ancestral past. During this journey many historical figures have appeared in his direct lineage including Puritans, Revolutionary War heroes, English, Canadian and American political figures, writers, nobility, Canadian sports figures and celebrities.
Drawing on the historical background of his paternal family, and his love for story telling and mysteries, the fictional novel "Bloodlines: Cove Point Manor" was penned.
