I have worked as a freelance and in-house translator of documents, troubleshooting guides, manuals, tour guides and itineraries from English/Portuguese to Italian for the following companies: Promotuscia Viaggi & Congressi, Promethean, Adelphi Translations, Workplace Station and Rosetta Translations.
In 2009 I obtained a BA Degree in Linguistic Mediation, for Enterprises, Institutions and Commerce at Tuscia University, with Portuguese and English as foreign languages.
In 2011 I obtained a Screen Translation MA at Sheffield University.
My research interests are: Angolan Literature, Portuguese Linguistics, Irish Cinema and Audiovisual Translations of the Irish-English slang.
In 2012 Peter Lang published my article titled: The Barrytown Trilogy: An Investigation Into the Hiberno-English Language and the Intra-lingual and Inter-lingual Audiovisual Translation.
