Vicki Hendricks is the author of noir novels Miami Purity, Iguana Love, Voluntary Madness, Sky Blues, and Cruel Poetry, the latter a finalist for an Edgar Award in 2008. Her short stories are collected in Florida Gothic Stories. She lives in Hollywood, Florida, and teaches at Broward College. Hendricks' hobbies, including scuba, sailing, and skydiving, are featured in her fiction. Love of animals and nature, always apparent in her writing, comes to the forefront in the most recent novel, Fur People.
