My crossing in the world of translation began with the completion of a PhD in Radiotherapy Physics at the same time I graduated in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Valencia and the Karls-Ruprecht University of Heidelberg. The following step was a master degree in Compared Literature and Literary Translation at the University Pompeu Fabra and master thesis on the main socialist poem book by William Morris.
From this bicephalous education I have always tried to link both fields of knowledge, the scientific and the humanistic, by means of translation, which I consider essentially poetic, in the sense of creative. My professional course has been very diverse and I have touched very different fields such as literary translation, either lyric or narrative, humanistic translation, political, social or financial, and scientific translation, both papers and doctoral thesis. I have tried to provide each of them with a certain literary touch and always tried to grasp both reality and knowledge with a poetic and unifying spirit.
I work from English, German and Catalan into Spanish, always with the passion of the original author.
