My name is Verónica Palacios. I was born in Argentina and moved with my family to Brazil in 1973, when I was 5 years old. Spanish has been always the official language at home, though I studied Portuguese at school. I had been working with translation for the last 25 years as a second activity but for the last 4 years translation has been my main professional activity.
Since 2012 I work as a sworn translator after taking an exam and being the first aprroved out ou more than 100 candidates.
I am aiming to work with literary tranlation.
