Veronica Lancet grew up in a mafia-ridden town in Eastern Europe. Moving across the ocean, she graduated with a degree in Biology and History from Columbia University and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Crime Science. Her academic research centers on organized crime and human trafficking, but in her spare time, Veronica enjoys writing anti-heroines and imperfect heroes.
