I’ve been an author since 1995. I published my first book - a tour diary about the band Take That that I co-wrote with my mother - at the age of sixteen. We’ve published several more biographies about boy bands as well as a couple of YA novels, crime novels and various short stories in magazines over the years. Some of my short stories have been published in the US as well.
I have earned a Certificate from Cambridge University (via a German school) and a degree as Foreign Correspondent Clerk from The German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Part of my training was also translation work.
After some voluntary jobs for websites, I translated Mark Dawson’s Black Mile into German and I’ve done editing work on his Beatrix Rose series as well.
I write in both German and English and went Indie with my books in both languages last year.
As a translator, you can expect devotion for your work from me. I love both languages and I will always put my best into your texts so they can shine. On request, I can recommend a proof reader for the finished text but I’m also happy to go along with your suggestions concerning this part.
