Author review: Verdiana did a great job translating my novel, and during the Covid-19 pandemic, too! Because I personally do not speak Italian, I asked a friend to check a few pages of Verdiana's work. My friend's Italian is a bit rusty, having left Italy for the U.S. over 40 years ago. Anyway, she came back with three challenges, and Verdiana explained her choices for each segment. My friend approved everything and admitted that Verdiana knows Italian much better than she does! I liked Verdiana's explanations too, and hence, I trust her translation. I would definitely use her again. |
