New to this world of book translations

Hi, I moved around quite often as a child and had the opportunity to learn different languages.

My experience in written translation so far has been limited to small books for friends and documents for school. I would really love to expand my experience in this sector as I find it wonderful and full of opportunities. Also, being able to understand the language in which a book was written, made me realize that often the translations completely misrepresent the author's idea.; it always bothered me that however the general message would be understood, all the nuances and the beauty of the text would be lost, sometimes completely.

I would be honored to help give justice to a well written book! :)
