I'm studying an English Bachelors degree with a major on translation and literature (I'm on my last year of college) so, is fair to say I have enough theoretical backgroud to deal with the translation of a literary work. During my academic formation I've translated all kind of documents like birth certificates, scientific articles, short stories from authors like James Joyce and some less known authors. I'm currently working on an adaptation of Don Quijote.
I love going to school, and that's why I have an almost perfect average, but what I love the most is literature so, becomieng a literary translatior is my biggest dream and I will put all my effort and commitment to any task that let me come near my dream. Books are my best friends and translating them is like having a one-on-one, heart-warming conversation with them and, there's nothing I would enjoy more!

Author review: Valentina did an excellent job translating my book. She was careful to respect the author's voice, while making sure it would read well and it would be easy to understand for all readers alike. She also double-checked with me whenever she had any doubts and did lots of research on topics she wasn't familiar with in order to be able to do a better job.
