Udo Fischer, born 1959, became a joiner and a globetrotter, a vocational teacher and a development worker. He graduated at Hamburg University with a degree in anglistics and vocational teaching. Now he lives in Bremen, Germany, with his wife, son and daughter and teaches English, theatre and woodworking.
