Hi! I'm a literary translator who works from French and German into my native English. I have more than fifteen years of professional experience in this field as well as a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Literary Translation and a PhD in Comparative Literature/Translation Studies. I have taught literature and language (French, German, and English) at the university level in France and the United States.
I have been a translator-in-residence at the Collège International des Traducteurs Littéraires as well as the Banff Literary Translation Centre.
For my translation work, I have been the recipient of the PEN America Center Translation Fund and the American Literary Translators Association Travel Award. I am also certified as a French-English translator by the United Nations.
I am currently translating two book-length academic works from the French language and a novel from German.
