Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, I moved to Eugene, Oregon (USA) when I was 18 years old to study marine biology at the University of Oregon. During my 4,5 years at the University of Oregon I worked part-time in the Language Department, tutoring students in Portuguese, translating documents and helping out at the front desk.
After graduation I decided to moved to Cape Town, South Africa to do my masters at the University of Cape Town. This was in 2014. My family and I have now settle in Cape Town and hope to stay here for many more years to come. I'm currently working on a PhD at the University of Cape Town.
I have 9+ years of translating experience, which range from websites, advertising material, brochures, documents, training manuals, patent applications, EIAs and more. My translations are accurate and always delivered on time.
