I am retired from 9-1-1 emergency services in Arlington, Texas, where I used both my English and Spanish skills to communicate with callers.
I grew up in Argentina, immersed in English and Spanish from the age of two. I attended an Argentine school from kindergarted through twelfth grade, then continued my higher learning in the United States. I have been interpreting for people since the age of eleven, including classroom, meeting, and jail interpretations. I have also received certifications for court interpreptation, and even worked for Language Line Services, but prefer translating to interpreting.
Living in two countries has allowed me to adopt regional and cultural terminologies.
My translations include brochures, articles, and short stories, mostly related to legal, medical, literary, and basic daily life.
I am at present learning Italian and hope to continue with other languages as well.
In my personal life I am a very creative and artistic person, doing a range of craft and designs, and am currently working on a book of short stories about my life.
