English and Italian to French translator and proofreader living in the UK. I currently work for PR Companies and individuals. I am hard-working, dynamic, creative and conscientious.

Hello,

 

My name is Severine Jacobs. I am French and I live in the UK near London.

I have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and started work in England as an English, Italian and French teacher.

I also did a translation course at the Metropolitan University in London and work as a freelance translator, I translate from Italian and English and American into French.

I work freelance and for translation agencies, I also do some pro bono work for charities.

Before I came to live in England I studied English, American and Italian History and Literature in a French University near Paris.

I love literature and I have a passion for reading, I organise a book club once a month with my English friends.

Because my husband is English and my children were born here and go to a British school I feel I am now part brit myself and obviously I know a lot about English culture and society.

I feel close to America as well as my brother's wife is american and I now go regularily to see them and my nephews, near Philadelphia, for Thanksgiving, Christmas and summer holidays.

I hope you will consider me to translate your story, I am a book worm with a passion for words!
