I’m a 30 year old regular guy who have always wondered what to do with my life, really, I’ve been trying to figure that out all life and at some point, I still do. What I feel is that I don’t really fit in the usual workforce although my dream has always been to be either an English teacher or a writer. Once I saw the great opportunity this website offers, I was very excited because I could finally do something I really wanted since I was a little child in Costa Rica.
My writer dream started as a child, I used to get home after school and write poems, that’s true, just poems to help myself get along with the situations I was living at the moment. Maybe my mother was mad at me because a got a “not so good” grade on my exams or maybe because I broke a window (trust me, it happened a lot) but the way for me to get by those moments was to write something. I had a little notebook that was a secret for everybody so I hid under my bed or I just found a lonely place to sit and start writing my verses. It was really a liberating moment and very useful too because after I was done writing I felt like I could face anything.
