I was born in 1956 in Tula (Russia) in a family of University professors. In 1978 I graduated from Tula Politechnic University as qualified economist and manager. After that I worked in atomic industry, served as an Army officer, was a scientist in the filed of techological forecasting. From 1990 I'm a journalist and write on political and economic topics.
From 1987 I'm also a freelance translator. I translated more than 40 books of fiction anfd non-fiction by such authors as Stephen King, Kenneth Rose, Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman, Michael Konnelly, Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown etc.
