Author review: I couldn't have been happier than I was working with Sebastien. He was dedicated to doing the best translation possible and engaged in lengthy discussions with me to get the full sense of a scene or a phrase, etc., to make sure he not only got the words translated correctly, but to get the right feel and convey the correct meaning. If you're looking for excellence, you won't be disappointed with Sebastien. Also, he's already planning on promotion activities to help inspire sales of the book in his native language and country. Author review: Sebastien was absolutely great to work with and I highly recommend him. He was friendly, conscientious, dedicated to excellence, and always stayed in touch and asked questions to make sure he got things right. Idioms and slang can be very difficult to translate, and Sebastien was tireless in working to be sure that the translation of unusual phrases would be conveyed in the best way possible to French readers. I have other books in progress and hope Sebastien will be available when the time comes for them to be translated into French. |
