25 year-old translator based in Trentino, Italy.
In 2016 I graduated in linguistic mediation at the University of Trento, while in 2019 I got my second degree in Specialized Translation at the Forlì campus of the University of Bologna. My languages are English, Spanish and Catalan (passive translation), I have previous work experience in translation of tourism texts for a newsroom and I recently took part in a few translating contests (the most recent being the InAltreParole contest at the Bologna Children's Book Fair). I worked as a translator and transcriber of TED as part of the TedX: Trento event and I currently collaborate in a team as a localizer of video games with an Italian company. In 2017, I translated the short story Heart of Winter by James Hartley, available in e-book format on Amazon, which reached in January 2018 the #1 position in both the categories Horror and Fantasy for Teens and YA.
What else? To me cooperation is crucial and I'm easy to work with as I really like to discuss and look for the best solutions in every situation; my goal is to work hard and to provide the most beautiful and faithful translation possible.
I'm fond of Gothic fiction and macabre settings, stories for kids, films and Italian dubbing.
