As long as I can remember, I've always been a book lover. Fiction at first, SF and Heroic fantasy in particular, and comic books as well. Then, as I grew up and felt closer and closer to nature in general, I started on gardening books, permanent agriculture litterature and phytoterapy documents. Later on I also became a board games and role games player and started reading a lot in that domain. Upon that, I am now getting more and more interested in alternative education pratices books as my kids are growing up.
Trained in a translation university, I am an English to French professional translator and a mainly self-educated web-designer. I have been translating for 13 years in a firm of consultants. There I have been drafting and translating many documents of all sorts, from consultancy projects reports to scientific articles and training session slideshows, websites and software interface, both in French and English. I became a freelance translator in 2015 and translated quite different texts from lab equipment IFU and power generator technical description to commercial videos and marketing content.
Besides, I really like to help others and find it capital that anybody can wiew content in his/her language. I am glad to put my stone on this way.
My goal when I translate is to release well finished documents or applications that will be easy and pleasant to use or read. I believe that to translate accurately, one needs to get deeply into the text so that to get bare ideas out of words to be able to reword those ideas into the target language in a naturaly fluent manner. I am keen on well finished jobs and always do my best to meet my client's needs exactly and stick to the project's requirements.
