My name is Ruth Marco, an English to Spanish freelance translator based in Spain. I am native in both Spanish and Catalan and have lived in Canada for 10 years.
I love books and my goal is to break language barriers by translating with heart, soul and mind. My main areas of expertise are Arts & Culture, Film & Animation, Religion (Christianity), Tourism, Gastronomy and Nature.
I graduated from a Professional Translation Course from a recognized school in Granada, Spain. And I’m currently working at a non-profit organization as an English to Spanish translator and proofreader. Though I have been professionally working as a translator for a short time, I have several years of experience as a reliable professional in the animation and film industry.
