I'm Rossana, I come from Italy and I have a degree in modern languages and literatures. I spent my third year in France studying at Poitiers university, where I got to improve my french, my level is currently a C2. After the degree I attended a specialisation school for translators, where I had the opportunity to learn from the most qualified italian translators and to work on several literary genres, such as novels, essays, tales, children's literature, post-colonial literature and poetry. During the second semester I did an internship translating both individually and in a team the novel Devoted Ladies by the Irish author Molly Keane, coming out in Italy in fall 2016.
In July 2016, just after the specialisation, I attended a workshop on short stories translation where I translated in a team the short story Loop Road by the Swiss author Philippe Rahmy, coming out in Italy in winter 2016.
