Word lover, literature devotee and enthusiastic reader.

I have always had curiosity and interest in languages, foreign cultures and, specially, in literature, both written in my mother tongue (Spanish) and in other languages. When I was only a child I was always reading books and trying to discover new languages. Such interests drove me to study a Bachelor of Arts in Translation and Interpretation Studies at Cordoba University (Spain). I also enrolled the Erasmus Mobility Programme in order to study abroad and complete my education in literary translation at University of Rome "La sapienza". My thesis consisted on translating and reviewing my own translation project, "Footprints in Spain", a literary book of travels around Spain.

After that experience, I decided to study a Master on Intercultural Communication, Interpretation and Translation at University of Alcalá. During my education I was required to do written translations of a wide range of topics and texts, including tourism, culture, arts, literature, poetry, business, economics and technology. To do so, I needed an excellent knowledge of Spanish culture and language as well as a very good command of English and Italian, languages I usually work with.

I really enjoy reading and translating books, stories and poetry. It makes me feel close to the author and an important part of the process of creation since I am able to be a connection among writers and readers. I am a very enthusiastic, hard-working, and highly motivated person. I am sure I will love to work together with you to transmit the essence, soul and sense of your words.
