Hello!

I’m a 27-year-old native Spanish speaker from Guadalajara, Mexico, with a strong passion for languages and literature. My English skills are backed by an 8 in IELTS and a 17-month stay in Ireland, where I further honed my proficiency. I’ve been learning English since I was 16, and it’s become a key part of my life and work.

I self-published a collection of poems I translated from Spanish to English, combining two of my favorite things: poetry and creative expression. I also have an intermediate level of Portuguese, which I’ve used to translate various works.

Currently, I’m pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Applied Languages and Translation at the University of Porto, where I’m deepening my understanding of translation and linguistics. Reading has always been a big part of my life—whether in Spanish or English, books have been my gateway to exploring new perspectives and cultures.

I also work as a Spanish teacher and love taking on new challenges that push me to grow both personally and professionally in this field.
