After completing my BAHons in Modern Languages and European Studies (French and Italian) I took a year out and moved to France, and have been living there ever since; I am a fully qualified teacher of English, but I am looking to diversify my employment and use my linguistic skills to do translation jobs more frequently.
I am passionate about equestrianism and other sports and have recently completed several brochure translations for equestrian businesses. I am an avid reader, and enjoy translating teaser passages of new novels to share with my friends, and so would like to develop that in a more substantial manner. I am a Beta reader and have a keen eye for grammatical, structural and contextual errors, which, combined with my cultural roots enables me to translate in a natural manner, with no errors of meaning.
I enjoy working with others ( team player has been on my school reports since I was 7 and it still is to this day) and would love to have the opportunity to work on more substantial projects, either individually or as part of a team.
