Paulo Fanha is a Portuguese writer. He was a son of the Empire, born in 1970-05-26 in Beira (Mozambique).
He used to be a Physics and Chemistry teacher. Displeased with the treatment that the Portuguese government gave to the teachers, he decided to search for a better life and he moved to Moscow (Russian Federation), where he currently lives and works as a translator and Chess teacher (he is a FIDE Instructor) since 2014.
He became European Amateur Vice-champion (Kaunas, Lithuania, 2015), which allows him to frequently play in other countries in Europe or Asia.
