I have always taken interest in reading and learning languages. Since I was very young, I used to buy second hand books in English and try to learn from them. Being a lover of music, I consider it has also helped me a lot in the process.
Born in Brazil, I consider myself a citizien of the world. At 17 I went alone to Australia, where I finally got to learn the real-world english. When I got back, I had experience working as an english teacher. More recently I had the opportunity to do an exchange study in the Netherlands. There I got in touch with several languages and cultures.

Author review: Unfortunately I don't read Portuguese, so I can't evaluate how accurate the translation is. The translator got my permission to hand in his book late, because I didn't want a rushed job. He kept in contact with me and several times asked questions that would improve his understanding of the work and (I hope) make for a better translation. I feel he was very eager to do a good job. |
