Born in the countryside of Bahia - Brazil, I have always been passionate about the English language and everything related to it. I didn't have many opportunities (since I lived in a small town), but the ones I had, I grabbed with all my heart. I started studying the language at an English course when I was 13 and never stopped since then (I'm 30 now). I've been giving English classes for more than 10 years now, and that's what I love doing and what I'm really good at.
I graduated in Portuguese Language and Literature at UNEB (one of the best Public Universities in the country). I am also certificated by Cambridge University (all three modules of Teaching Knowledge Test) and my experience goes from little kids to elderly people. Besides that, I have good recommendations from former colleagues and bosses, as well as clients to whom I've done academic papers translations.
Nowadays, I am aiming for book translating, and this website has been such a wonderful tool for that. I would like to highlight that text interpretation is one topic I'm really attentious to, so my translations go beyond the words. I seek to be faithful to your words and what you meant when you first wrote your book, and not simply about the words themselves.
