Hi, I'm a college student and I enjoy reading more than anything.

I was in elementary school when I was introduced to the joy of reading. I was fascinated by several books that I found and was very disappointed when I realized that the book that I was reading had an open ending and the book that was supposed to follow up the story was nowhere to be found in my school. I researched the author and found out that there where more books that continued the story. It actually was a series of books!. However, only the first one was translated into spanish, which is my native language. It was at that moment that I decided that I would learn english even if it meant that I will have to teach myself. And that's exactly what I did. To date I have read hundreds of books (without exaggerating) and 90% of them were in english.

I'm currently a college student of mechanical engineering. Due to my career I use english almost everyday because the textbooks and research material are all in english. I have presented the TOEFL ITP test in which I got a score of 643/677 points which is equivalent to level C1, the highest level for this test. I enjoy reading more than anything and working as a translator sounds like a very interesting opportunity that will help me financially while doing something that I really enjoy.
